my original idea was to lay this out like the back of a baseball card…Topps, circa 1986 or so.  then, i thought it might be cool to write a series of haiku poems.  then i realized if i did either of those things, i’d probably get ragged on.  and to be honest, i’ve got enough of that in my life right now, thank you very much.

i grew up in a lovely, tree-dotted ‘hood called greenwood.  greenwood is in wakefield, massachusetts.  people from wakefield who didn’t grow up in greenwood wonder why people who did grow up in greenwood say they’re from greenwood & not from wakefield.  some of them even get upset about it.  i find it amusing.

among other things, i’m a Christian, an NU Husky, and, as you’ve probably figured out, a radio DJ.  i’ve been playing tunes & talking on the radio in some capacity or another for about 10 years now.

i’ve worked in places like Boston, Albuquerque, Denver, & Salt Lake City.  i’ve been on the air at all times of the day and all days of the week.  i’ve even gotten to be a music director & host a couple of free-form new music shows.  all in all, i consider myself blessed to be able to make a living geeking out about music on the people’s airwaves.  we should all be so lucky.
